Art and 7th Art - Monika Bacardi's Passions
Film is an art form that can offer a chance to present varied messages to a wide variety of audiences: this is the conviction of Monika Bacardi. She is of the opinion that cinema can change the world. One of the reasons she set out to create AMBI Pictures is that she wished to encourage young filmmakers, on account of her passion for "The Seventh Art" (Cinema). With a desire to promote the art form the world over, AMBI Pictures makes commercially viable films for viewers the world over. To establish partnerships with regards to the arts in Monaco, Monika Bacardi is involved in the Monaco Project for the Arts, an organisation that supports the University of Plastic Arts.

Monika Bacardi also encourages the happiness of children via AMADE-Monaco (Association Nationale Monégasque des Amis de l'Enfance).
A great number of humanitarian matters are of great significance to Monika Bacardi. One, in particular, in which she is active is eco-sustainability. Encouraging green practices is a major part of her belief system, which is the reason that she assists the H.S.H. Prince Albert II Foundation. Being greatly associated with the Principality of Monaco's cultural and humanitarian activities, Monika Bacardi is a supporter of the H.S.H. Prince Albert II Foundation. Working to take care of the natural environment and encouraging maintainable development all over the world are things that the H.S.H. Prince Albert II Foundation tries to address.
The AMBI Group aims to do well in being a principal supplier of mainstream motion pictures for studios and major distributors around the world. Monika Bacardi bought the venerable 'PHOTO' magazine (which has been running since 1967) a few years back. Each and every year, Monika Bacardi tries to complete between eight and ten movies. These range from in-house to 3rd party productions and are achieved through the AMBI Group.
Monika's Personal Life
Quite a few charitable organisations and causes are close to her heart, so Monika Bacardi spends a lot of her free time promoting them. Being positive and endeavouring to keep a smile on one's face are things that she believes in. Lord Luis Bacardi (Lord of Bayfield Hall) was a relative of the originator of the Bacardi Company. He and Monika Bacardi became husband and wife and had a lovely daughter together.
